
HORT/VIT_ENOL 399 is an undergraduate professional experience course designed to complement your academic program, to provide practical learning, and to assist you in your transition from the university into the work force.
When should I register for the course?
Register for the semester during which you will begin your work experience. If you are planning to begin work during the summer, you should register for Summer Session.
Requirements
There are both Departmental and College requirements for HORT/VIT ENOL 399.
Before beginning the work experience
All students are required to submit the following:
- HORT/VIT_ENOL 399 Agreement (p. 5 of syllabus),
- Statement of Intent and
- CAHNRS Internship Agreement
During the work experience
Additional assignments are due throughout the work experience.

WSU Exchange With Ecole d’Ingenieurs de Purpan (France)
Ecole d’Ingenieurs de Purpan is an institution that focuses on life sciences, agriculture, agrifood marketing and management. Located in the Southern town of Toulouse, a city of about 300,000, it features a large student population with many entertainment options. Earn six credits while studying French and European agricultural practices at Ecole d’Ingénieurs de Purpan for four weeks, followed by a four week internship on a family-run vineyard or farm during the summer!
