Fruit Sales at the WSU Horticulture Center

Fresh Fruit from WSU Orchards

🎉 Final Fruit Sale of the Season — Granny Smith Party!

This weekend marks the final fruit sale of the season—and we’re wrapping things up with a Granny Smith Party!
Granny Smith apples are the only variety remaining, and there’s still time to stock up.

🍯 Self-Dipped Caramel Apples Are Back

Students from the Horticulture Alliance (HORTA RSO) had a great time last weekend selling candied and caramel apples—Butch even stopped by as their first customer!
WSU Environmental Health & Safety has approved a special self-serve caramel setup for this weekend. This is a fundraiser for the Horticulture Alliance (HORTA) RSO, and all funds will go into their club account.

  • Choose your own Granny Smith apple
    • Dip it yourself in warm caramel
    • Pack it in provided clamshells or paper bags

🍎 Crimson & Gray Candied Apples (Limited)

If everything goes as planned, we will also have a small number of pre-packaged candied apples made by students in the WSU Dining Hall Kitchen. This is also a fundraiser for HORTA, with all funds going into their club account.

  • Version 1: Crimson apple-flavored coating with a gray cinnamon swirl
    • Version 2: Gray cinnamon-flavored coating with a crimson apple swirl

🍬 Pricing

  • Candied Apples: $5 each
    • Caramel Apples: $7.50 each

All proceeds support HORTA’s student-led learning and outreach projects.

🌱 Custom Grafted Tree Requests (Fall 2026 Pickup)

The Horticulture Alliance RSO is now accepting custom grafted tree requests as part of a hands-on student learning experience.
Trees will be grafted this winter and—if successful—available in Fall 2026.

đź“‹ Submit your request here:
https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/WpDPPDGaF4

Notes:
• The form is easiest to complete on a computer.
• Submissions can be edited after submission.
• We cannot propagate commercially protected varieties (e.g., Cosmic Crisp®). If requested, we’ll notify you.
• We cannot accept payment until trees are sold in the fall—this form is only for requests.
