🌳 WSU Horticulture Center Spring Service Days 🌸

Event Dates:

🗓 April 20, 21, 27, and 28
🕚 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM (come for as long or as little as you can!)

WSU Horticulture Center
410 SE Dairy Road, Pullman, WA 99164
(Just follow the signs pointing to the Horticulture Center, stay right on the gravel road, and look for the two red buildings at the top of the hill!)

Event Description:

Come celebrate spring bloom at the WSU Horticulture Center with a day of hands-on service, orchard views, and community connection! Whether you’re looking to log service hours, meet new people, or just enjoy a gorgeous spring day outdoors—there’s something for everyone. 🌞

These volunteer days are open to all students, faculty, staff, and community members—no horticulture experience required!

Volunteer Activities Include:

• 🌱 Tree planting
• 🐝 Installing pheromone lures and pollinator structures
• 🌸 Flower thinning (timing-dependent)
• 🌿 Weeding and site cleanup
• 🔨 Building nursery tables and wildlife boxes
• 🔧 Irrigation maintenance
• 🍎 Trellis repairs and pruning cleanup

Come ready to get your hands dirty and make a lasting impact on one of WSU’s most beautiful spaces. We’ll provide tools, gloves, and training. All you need to bring is your enthusiasm (and maybe a water bottle, a hat, and some sunscreen)!
