R. Rhett Spear, PhD – SUPERIOR FRESH MARKET POTATOES REVEALED THROUGH PRODUCTION ECONOMICS AND CONSUMER PREFERENCE, AND MAXIMIZING CREAMER-SIZED POTATOES BY ALTERING THE SPATIAL ARRANGEMENT OF SEED PIECES.  Advisor: Mark Pavek

Rachel Leisso, PhD – Postharvest metabolomics of ‘Honeycrisp’ apple fruit: biomarkers and physiology of quality parameters and storage disorders. Advisor: John Fellman

Charlene Grahn, MS – Evaluating baby-leaf salad greens for spring and fall production in northwest Washington. Advisor: Carol Miles

Morgan Fish, MS – Developing struvite as a fertilizer for container-grown woody nursery crops. Advisor: Rita Hummel

Kelly Atterberry, MS – Production of niche-market dry beans (Phaseolus vulgaris) in western Washington and school garden-based pulse education to increase consumption of targeted food. Advisor: Carol Miles
